The chart offered is designed for sailing on the Frisian lakes and caters to boat renters, skippers, crews of sailboats, motorboats, barges, canoes, and fishers.

Area:

The chart covers an extensive area from Stavoren to Grouw, including lakes such as Heegermeer, Fluessen, Morra, Oudegaster Brekken, Zwarte and Witte Brekken, Sneekermeer, Koevorden, Tjeukermeer, Langweerderwielen, and Pikmeer/Wijde Ee.

Detail and Scale:

This detailed chart offers a scale of 1.3m per pixel, equivalent to approximately 1:5000 on the screen.

Depth View:

The chart provides clear depth views using data from the Friese Meren Project, displaying depth information in well-colored areas on the lakes and featuring depth numbers along waterways. Developed by Stentec in cooperation with the province of Fryslân based on recent depth measurements.

Waypoints:

The included database encompasses 2345 waypoints grouped into 13 categories. It includes information on 145 marinas with corresponding phone numbers and websites. Other groups cover buoyage, mooring spots, campsites, gas stations, among others.

The buoyage is accurately depicted to include 'slobbers,' marking protected bird areas from October 1 to May 1. These are replaced by yellow regatta buoys outside this period. Marrekrite natural mooring spots are also highlighted in the chart with indications if camping is permitted (CAMP), presence of a container (CONT), or indicating mooring options (WAL).

The chart also features bridges and locks along waterways with information on height and width for convenient route planning. Moreover, aqueducts are marked for navigation purposes. Note that most bridges operate daily from May 1 to November 1 between 9:00 and 19:00, extending to 20:00 during June, July, and August.
